RULES 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

On Premise Entertainment (The Producer) and America’s Funniest Firefighters (AFF) , is a stand up comedy competition featuring active and or retired firefighters from North America.

On Premise Entertainment (OPE) is seeking submissions by members of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) showing them telling a funny story for initial viewing by the producers/ talent team at AFF.

On Premise Entertainment (The Producer) will not share the submitted videos without the permission of the individual that submitted the video.

Each submission must be solely the original work of Entrant(s)/submitter(s) and/or each Entrant represents that his/her submission does not infringe on any third party’s copyrighted material trademark or other intellectual property rights, or privacy or publicity rights.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Videos will be judged by Producer on the basis of humor, originality and its uniqueness.

Examples of videos that have been considered include those showing the telling of funny stories that have happened on the job, unexpected foul-ups, slip-ups during calls, practical jokes and life’s annoyances.

Producer’s representatives will conduct an initial review of all submissions and will (as determined by Producer in its sole discretion) advance those videos reflecting a sufficient level of humor and/or uniqueness to warrant further consideration. Any video which does not advance past Initial Review will be rejected for use at that time. Producer reserves the right to reevaluate any submission at any time, but has no obligation to do so.

The competition is currently intended to consist of: approximately thirteen regions with each district entering the winner into the national finals.

Five Thousand Dollar (USD $5,000) prize will be awarded to the winner of each region. All monetary prizes shall be paid in U.S. Dollars.

The competition is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada, who are active or retired members of the IAFF.

Producer reserves the right to modify existing eligibility criteria, including, without limitation, geographical and age restrictions. Entrant must be 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry.
